The Hyundai Motor Company is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The company was founded in 1967 and, along with its 33% owned subsidiary, Kia Motors, together comprise the Hyundai Motor Group. HMC used to be part of ‘Hyundai Group’ which was founded by Chung Ju-yung in 1947 as a construction firm.

Hyundai’s current design philosophy is known as Fluidic Sculpture, which is heavily inspired by nature.
